Thanks but not my cup of tea.  I wish Le Patin Libre would come back to the UK.

Looks like they're only touring in Canada at the moment:

Yes indeed.  They did appear in the UK and France a few times, a few years ago, and I thought they were quite popular.

I would have enjoyed seeing T&D in their prime but much as they are still lovely skaters I just don't get why you'd want to watch them when you can see much better skaters.  Perhaps they showcase younger skaters in the show - I presume they don't do the whole show themselves.  Hopefully it won't be full of "celebs" - though perhaps that is what people want to see.

Funnily enough this popped up in my YT feed just now: 'Saudade Saudade' - Gabriella Papadakis, Tiffany Zahorski, Sofia Sforza & Jeremie Flemin

I quite like ensemble pieces like that, treating skating as a dance art form.  I don't know that was them rehearsing for shows or something.  I know Papadakis & Cizeron are taking a break from competitive skating.

Yeah, for show skating you don't want to see a competition piece.
(because people have already seen it)

They want to see Something Different (like the clip you mentioned)
Or checkout Gia Guddat and Gary Beacom:

or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFS-eKyMBHY (5:25)

Also Humour is good, think Kurt Browning - Rag-Gidon-Time (clown)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kek14Z1p9A (11:03)

And finally Storytelling, which is what T&D are planning to do:
Sunrise 7News - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kueWUPMSrq8 (4:54)

A Current Affair - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDrwmcl7FwM (5:06)

Love Kurt Browning.  This is fun (such a great song): 1995 Rock n' Roll Championships - Brickhouse

I saw this at the Palace, where this was filmed: Ice skating dance troupe Le Patin Libre | Vertical (Full Film)

The link to the Beacom clip is not correct.  I like Beacom.  He came to the Palace a few years ago to do some workshops - he may be an acquired taste but I like his approach and think there is room for all sorts.

For an amateur video, this is very well put together: (24) Naomi Grigg Skates Knoxville Tennessee - YouTube Grigg oozes talent, so jealous of that rink she's in, floor looks perfect.  I especially like this bit which to me embodies a key difference between ice and wheels - more of a community spirit and sense of fun: https://youtu.be/pczzmHAAL_I?t=326

Via this rather lovely piece: Gabriella Papadakis, "Babylon", The Rink At Rockefeller Center

I came upon this channel.  Not had a chance to look at much yet but it looks more like what Curry was doing, which I always liked: (30) Ice Dance International - YouTube

Artistic pieces, often with an ensemble cast, that are very much theatrical and dance inspired and not just recycled skating competition programs.
