Please help me choose new skates!
« on: September 15, 2024, 07:15:20 pm »
Hi!
I'm 14, female, about 90 pounds, and 5 feet tall. I have Edea chorus (I love edeas, so I'm only looking for Edea recommendations only!) Anyways, my Chorus are falling apart and the blades are chipping away so I have to get new skates soon. I am also growing out of the boots.
I can land double toe, double sal, and axel. I am currently working on all my doubles except double axel and double lutz.

What skates should I get? I asked my coach (now former coach, I'm in between coaches right now) about Ice Fly and she said no. So I'm thinking Piano or Concerto but I'm not sure.

Please help, I don't know.

Thanks!

The greatest trick figure skaters ever pulled, was convincing the world it was easy.

My friend had Pianos and was happy with them.  Patrick Chan skated in Concertos so they are probably OK.  Why did your ex-coach recommend not to use Ice Fly?
