Remind me why I'm still living in Darkest Cornwall? Sigh.
Returned to the ice in Sept 2017 after a major leg injury in 1999. Skating in Jackson Elite Pro & MK Vision Syncro. Still scary after all these years.

Well some random geezer I just met on holiday in Spain has just moved there from Essex reckons Cornwall is the place to be.  But he's a surfer not a figure skater.

Totally the place to be if you like (cold) surfing! But getting up at 3.20am to be on the ice for 8.30am is not my idea of practical. It only happens once a week and I'm severely deprived of skating between February and October half terms when the Eden Project has no rink.

I'm working on a plan to move up north.

Most people are moving the other way- perhaps you can do a house swap!
