never give up. i quit when i was 14 and started again when i was 21. i regret quitting so much. its taken me a long time to get to where i am now. never give up no matter what people say

saw two hockey guys mimicking me again.. i dont know them and they are not the hockey regulars that i see in the rink... but they just annoy me!!!!1

Give me one year and ill land double or maybe triple next to their sorry asses!!

My brother is a hockey skater and he and his fiends mimik me all the time so I mimik them by skating super fast and swinging my arms like a mad gorilla

dont worry!!!!!! the hockey skaters always mimic me doing spirals spins jumps e.t.c but instead of getting sad i go up to them show them a backwards y-stand and say you wanna show me that? just try to ignore them and take in your stride

on gold working on nisa 1/2/3 as well rehaersing for little mermaid at ally pally :D

its a lot harder for us guys because we get judge alredy by doing figure skating...!!!!!

oh and one thing, they Always Spray close to me.  I don't know if figure skaters can spray is a lot of ice because everyone I try I can only  make a tiny spray

I've found certain moves are infectious. You do them and suddenly you see others genuinely trying it.

Moves like teapots and spreadeagles.

(spirals, spins and jumps also are, but these may result in mickey taking, as you have found)

You might find that 'meeting people half way' with skating may help to break down the barrier of you normally doing stuff that is in a completely different league to them.

If they try it and seem amiable about it, congratulate them or offer some tips :)


Oh, and if you can do a 'hydroblade' - you *really* will get their attention.. O0
(watch your 6 when doing this move though)

I had to google hydroblade to even know what that was!  I've seen a few people doing them and must admit I'm wowed

I often find myself copying what others are doing. I see someone and thing OO I've not done that for a while. Or OO I think my abilities progressed to dare try that now.....
