It says "open to ALL levels", so I would think they mean beginners too, seeing as they put 'all' in capitals.

This looks very interesting - with the coaching line up it looks like the kind of course that BITA have done before at Ice Sheffield so i'd expect it to be similar to that.  Think I might get my application in!

It sounds good I'm only level 5 skate uk at the mo and I'm thinking about going on it. My m8 on Facebook says if you skate uk level you can go on this camp still. My m8 thinks though that in her opinion you needs to be SK8UK level 5 upwards to get any real value from a camp of this type :-)

I think Skate uk level 4 or 5 is pretty much the minimum you could be and benefit from a camp (other than one exclusively for low skate uk levels), unless you learn very quickly. That's because you'll have the basics such as edges, gliding, ability to transfer weight from one foot to another (chasses, crossovers), turning (two foot turn) etc. These are a foundation that gives coaches something to work with. Even if you can't do a three turn, you can do a two foot version for example, but if you can't glide on one foot on an edge, there's not much you could do at a mixed level camp.

Update on the camp for those that aren't nisa members

NISA would like to clarify that for this, the first Adult Development Camp, it is NOT necessary for applicants to be NISA members. If you are interested in applying please see the information in the News Item below and return your application form to Emma Walton at the NISA Head Office, Grains Building, High Cross Street, Nottingham, NG1 3AX –[email protected].
