Hi everyone,

Stefan Betz at Oberstdorf Eisportzentrum has emailed to ask if there would be any adults interested in attending a skate camp in the beginning of October this year. The ice rink hosts the Adult International Skating Competition on behalf of the ISU and it is always a fantastic event. the rink has superb facilities for adult skaters and takes us seriously. The town of Oberstdorf is ideal for tourists and the ice rink wants to offer a full package of social events and sightseeing too. There are an abundant choice of accommodation and the town has a Tourist Information Centre too.

Stefan has made it clear that this is an idea and it will only go ahead if there is enough definite interest. I would highly recommend a skate camp, as I have done one during the Adult Skating Competition. Stefan needs to hear from you by email and I have attached the rink's contact details below. Feel free to mention my name, as he has emailed competitors of this year's competition that was held there last Month.

All the best, Robert Wildman  :)

Hi 'skatebrasil',

As I said on my initial post, it is an idea at this stage and Stefan at Oberstdorf is waiting to see what interest there might be from skaters. Why not contact him directly and perhaps he will be able to give you a guide to how long and how much the cost might be and potential elements covered.
