A weekend of dancing tango on ice with JIMMY YOUNG in BELGIUM
Come along and spend 2 great  days  being taken through the steps and perfecting your tangos :

This two day event will be held :19-20th May in Deurne (Antwerp).

Hi Hippyloubylou, thanks for that .....I shall be going on the Tango weekend and think it`s excellent value for money. Far more reasonable than any course in the UK and the delight of Tango,tango.... .Might be worth mentioning that the the single day (Cha Cha 13th May) has a week gap and aimed at people from Holland and Belgium.
Even with Eurostar and hotel ,bed and breakfast all in it works out a great deal...and you visit another country too!!
Put your skates on in Belgium and think you are in Argentina...ha,ha,ha

Eurostar booked  (2hrs 5mins) 72.00 return...really reasonable.

ooo that sounds really good - I've been browsing for ferry prices. The easiest route for us would be Hull-Zeebrugge but its £280 (ouch!). Does your Eurostar include the car?
Where are you staying in Antwerp?

Your best bet will be to fly from Manchester or Liverpool(Easyjet).They have a flight sale on and I believe it`s about 40,00 pounds return !!I will be staying in the ABhostel which is well priced and not too far away from the rink.5 min bus journey or 2 kilo walk!!

We were pondering about camping nearby - there's a site in a forest near the canal to the east of the rink. We do a lot of camping and it should be plenty warm enough by then.

Managed to get a ferry from Dover to Calais for £57 and we can take the car too!

How exciting..an adventure in itself. Do you know of any others that are thinking of going too? The thread has had a few hits.If you research well you can get a reasonably priced skating trip abroad,no doubt about it and top quality teaching.I am a happy bunny right now!!
