Dumfries - Synchro

I have heard that next years synchro at Dumfries is going to be over the Easter weekend.  Does anyone know if this is correct?

Yes, thats right, our prelim team expect to be skating on Sunday, then there's a camp Monday/Tuesday.  I've got mixed feelings about it tbh; I don't like taking DD out of school, but I'd rather spend the bank holiday weekend with family.  Should be fun though, it was last year.

Yes, we were there last year.  Stayed some at premier and some at travelodge.  I think the hotels are booked up already and we are staying on some campsite in tents!  I don't mind it being at Easter as at least its no extra time off work or school but I suspect we may struggle to get full teams as I know a lot of people go away at Easter - we usually do.

We were in the Premier Inn last year, and I have it booked for this time.  That said, we like camping!  I've said DD can't do the camp though, it adds quite a bit to the cost, and I would like to spend some time at home!  DS has his GCSE's this year, so I don't want to drag him along this time either. 

I suppose I've been lucky that neither of them has been involved in a team sport until now, but it is such a huge commitment, we're finding it very stressful, and losing the Easter break isn't helping domestic harmony at all!!
