what do you have to do in yours? I thought ours was quite simple.... though I have to admit the start would have been hard if a friend hadn't told me about it before hand and I had practiced it.

Ours was:

3 turn straight into backwards crossover twice, 4 crossrolls, 2 bunny hops and a drag I think... *can't renember*

Is yours different?
Passed- skate uk 1-10, passport bronze, silver + gold in dance and freestyle~

Surprising how they change ...  :)

Mine (created by my current coach consisted of :

Two foot spin
Alternate barrel rolls (inside mohawk plus back crossover)
Forward fish
two foot turn
backward fish
two foot turn
alternate cross rolls
bunny hop
drag to finish !!!

I think I was the only one who ever did it ...

Mine was -

2 forward cross rolls, LFO 3 turn, RFO 3 turn, 2 backward cross rolls, step to forward, LFI to RBI mohawk, back crossover, RFI to LBI mohawk, back crossover, step to forward, 2 bunny hops into a forward drag.

I didn't think there was anything remotely simple about it at all!!!

I never did an official step sequence   :)

I started having private coaching instead of group lessons around Level 7, and lost my record card.  So for months I didn't have one with me.

When we got round to signing all the elements off, I was already doing various combinations in forward and backward Russian Stroking, Barrel Rolls, as well as the Novice Foxtrot, Canasta Tango and Dutch Waltz!  We decided that they all qualified as "simple" step sequences . . .

Reading these so called simple step sequences,  I don't think I'll get back on the ice, I'm likely to end up with more than a broken wrist. LOL. :)

Well done Abbi on passing level 9
Skate UK Level 4 - Passed (ages ago, not skated since).

I just started level 10 and thought mine was quite tricky but it's getting better everytime i go, I gotta do RFO 3turn step forwards to LFO three turn, step forward into  RFI mohawk, back crossover, step forward to LFI mohawk, step forward into bunnyhop drag. I can do all the bits and can link my mohawks to my bunny hop drag but for some reason just can't step forward from 3 turn into mohawk, don't feel i can get my foot right round from my LBI edge into my RFI edge for the mohawk! Arrrgh! luckily due to christmas we get 7 weeks to practise before next testting wek now, so fingers crossed i'll have it by then!

You need to be well balanced on your LBI edge to open your hip for the step into the mohawk. I practice my 3 turns now with an extended glide at the end to check stability. The other thing which will help is cast your mind back to the back to forward step in level 6. When I learned this, we did it on a circle, one foot backward glide, then step towards the centre.
