i dont think we'll be staying at the bungalows.my daughter is 16 so it will be good if there are other teenagers to get to know at the school.did you have the lunches this year and if so what were they like?

The bungalows were without doubt the best option. I stayed with my 16 year old daughter and her two friends were in a hotel. They ended up coming over to the bungalows each day. The outdoor pool and the fact that there were so many other skaters there meant that it was like a real holiday. I would recommend them. There was an hourly express bus that took about 15 minutes to the rink and cost 1.25 euro. The other buses took about 50 minutes but were about every 15 minutes. You could go to the supermarket opposite the rink and get all your food for the bungalows but the restaurant/bar at the bungalows was also very cheap. I wouldn't recommend any other accommodation option.

I agree that the pool was great- i came over and used it twice!  8)

However i will give the travelodge a plug because it was clean, air conditioned, friendly staff, nice friendly restaurant around the corner - and the big plus was it was only 20 euros a night for the room rather than per person!  You do need a car though :)

Wow!  Full up already thats pretty impressive.  I have already booked for the bungalows again next year - I have even asked for the same bungalow as we really liked where we were because it was on the end it wasn't too noisy.

Hi Rach

Yes they got back straight away with a price.  We have to pay 20% deposit by the end of January and they have said that we can do this my credit card rather than transferring it through to the bank account which seems to be the way they do it over there.  I don't think they get stung for bank charges in europe in the same way we do over here.

We are also going to get a car this time.  It means planning ahead but by booking on line can get one for £185 for 9 days which is pretty good.

Hi is anyone going with teenage kids and staying at the bungalows.  We went last year but most of the friends my daughter made were doing dance so they won't be there at the same time next year.  Just thought it might be nice to swap a few emails/face book details so the kids know who each other are before they get there.
