Next week on Eurosport there is quite a bit of coverage of the Nebelhorn trophy. Enjoy!

Thanks for the tip - I don't remember Eurosport covering this before.  I think this year it has an added importance because it is Olympic year and the competition represents a chance for skaters, particularly those not skating in the ISU Grand Prix series, to get qualifying scores for Sochi.  Oda of Japan and Jason Brown (USA) are skating, among the men.  Full entry list here: http://www.isuresults.com/events/fsevent00051462.htm

Now that I have access to British Eurosport, I was pleased to find by chance that they are showing the senior Grand Prix events.  I caught some of Skate America and saw most of Skate Canada this week end.  The Grand Prix from Shanghai is on Friday 7 November on Eurosport 2 at various times starting at 8.00 am.

So good to see elite skating again.  It is a completely different sport from my ice skating!!

The men doing quads didn't fall and the free skating music must allow vocals now, which was a surprise to me as I don't keep up with the various criteria.

Also, for those in the USA, the Grand Prix coverage is showing on Universal Sports channel (some live, some taped).  You can also subscribe to www.icenetwork.com and watch live and repeat coverage online.
