Champion cords
« on: May 16, 2009, 08:39:56 pm »
Hey. i just bought these new things off everglides called champion cords. they are bungees that connect the hand to the feet to create posture, alignment and timing. Yeh i know crazy. but when i got on the ice they really helped my basic stroking footwork and field moves. But i wasent as confident on my jumps or spins. i got up to the single axel and the flying camel. These are a real good training aid and should be looked at. they're under training aids on everglides and they are £8 eack WARNING: ONLY ONE CORD COMES FOR £8 SO ORDER TWO FOR TWO CORDS   Take a look. just thought you'd like to know bout them. just send me any thoughts.

Out of interest, are these cords useful for off-ice exercises?

These look really good. I have difficulty in looking graceful when just doing the basics so may be these will help me get everything in line.

Do they not feel really wierd on? I seen these a few months ago and thought it may help align everything properly and should really strat from beginning with them so you don't have to correct it later... but thought it would make me more nervous thnking me hands were tied to me feet! ;D

I wonder if you can use em in pairs to get the timing between each other right? ;D
I don't believe in the no-win scenario. There is always a way to have your cake and eat it!!!
