on a nation about proline... i'm sure they can order you in whatever you want, as long as there supplier has them. just dont get your skates sharpened by them, take them to the guys who are at the rink, some horry storys have come from proline. they are hit and miss whether they come out good or not.

but if u are willing to travel to cardiff its worth popping into the rink and seesing the guys at ch sports. if you generally know what you need, they can see if they can get it in fro you. thye can pretty much get anything. i know ther esuppliers do just about everything or should do just about everything. website is chsports.co.uk

worth a ring and see if they can order you stuff in, but if your after a proper fittign service i'd look at people like les westaway and john turner (if you want to make the trip to b'ham) and the guys at everglides (heard good things about them)

Hi guys

Just to let you know that it is always better to try out skates in the ice shop, than order it online. My ice skating buddy at Queens order her Rendall skates online, turned out that they were too narrow for her fit, and nearly killing her feet, so she had to put them back in e-bay for sale again.  :-\

All for trying them on, however, some online places have a foam fitting system or will take drawings and dimensions.  I have very wide feet, and explained this to everglides. Bought my skates there and was asked if i wanted blades fitting before sending, if they were not fitted I could send them back.  Although the lower end riedells only come in one width the top ones come in up to 5, so it's crucial you give the right information if your not trying them on.
It's always a risk buying on-line, however sadly theres hundreds of people up and down the country who have bought ill fitting skates in skate shops.  Either due to unqualified staff, or just buying the skates they want or can afford rather than the right ones for them.

Ian Robertson at Specialist Skating Services fits Riedells.  They have updated their models this year. You may want to have a chat with Ian about which boot is best for you.  he is incredibly knowledgable about the boots and you can always send tracings of your foot to him and he can determine which size.  Our whole family skates on them - from Gold Stars down to Gold medallions.  I have never met anyone who skated on the 1500s but would love to hear about them. BTW, my daughter does doubles and had silver stars before this but she needed to upgrade to the gold stars. He number is: Tel:    +44 (0)1254 680937

i've been in gold stars but they were wrecked in the first 4 months thats why i need a strong boot which can take bashings from triples when i try them.
