Take it easy and don't overdo it but enjoy being back on the ice and hope that you are no longer in pain.
Maybe we should start a medical thread for all of us crocks out there
Thanks Christine, I think a medical thread would be really useful - not just for skating injuries.
I've had a great couple of hours on the ice and am in absolutely no pain or discomfort from the surgery (lateral sphincterotomy) or the skating. My knees are so much better too that I can actually manage a straight line on just my left foot which I couldn't last week. I'm skipping things which
are likely to cause me problems but the skating I'm doing at the moment is very basic and very low impact. Still a great way to get fit though!
I'm looking forward to another private lesson tomorrow morning and my first Skate UK lesson tomorrow evening. After that I'll be back on the ice in Oxford during the day on Friday.
