BLADE MASTERS

Hello everybody, does anybody skate in Sheffield and Nottingham that know of a competent blade fitter, can sometimes be coaches that are completely competent or someon efrom the shops with professional understanding of attaching and sharpening bladescorrectly. :-* :-* Many thanks

I think Rod Turner used to sharpen at least at one of those rinks, not sure if he still does.  His sharpening and blade fitting has always been great for me.  He's based in Birmingham, you can send your skates by post, though for blade fitting I guess ideally you'd want to be there for that so you can try them before they are screwed in properly.  The contact details are on his website: http://www.johnturner-tcg.co.uk/

For sharpenings in Sheffield I'd recommend HD Sports, if they still do it. (not sure about the blade fitting though)
