Problem with mounting blades to Edea Chorus
« on: January 03, 2020, 07:14:12 PM »
I bought used Edea Chorus but in a cery good condition, I asked one of the coaches to fit my Coronation Ace to the boots but he came across unexpected problem. Blades are not flat on the boot, there is a small gap fir some reason and he said that he is not able to fit them. I emailed Edea but no response, I found found Edea rep in Polabd (my home country) and they said they are old type boots and are able to help me, but it means i have to send them to Europe and it is a bit of a cost. I was wondering has anyone come across problem like this and any idea how to solve it?
I would be grateful fir any advice or recommendation.

Do you have any skate shops near where you live, or does Rod Turner visit your rink to sharpen?  I'd imagine there would be someone in the UK who would offer to help - I presume your contact in Poland would be attempting to flatten the sole a bit - possibly using some kind of clamp and/or heating it.  A decent skate technician here ought to be able to do that.
