270mm boots, blade sizes 10 or 10.25?

I know the rocker would be placed in a different part of the foot. Which length of blade do you prefer and why? Thank you

I've not messed around with it - I would think you'd always want the spin rocker directly under the ball of your foot.  So the variable would be how far back the blade goes.

Unless you're on dance blades (which must go from end to end, as their shorten heel makes it dangerous if you have even less at the back), I honestly don't think that quarter inch makes a blind bit of difference.  If you're going down in size in a boot, your weight will shift slightly anyway.  Unless you're an elite skater, don't sweat the small stuff.
Returned to the ice in Sept 2017 after a major leg injury in 1999. Skating in Jackson Elite Pro & MK Vision Syncro. Still scary after all these years.

I agree it doesn't make much difference - you just get used to different length blades - but would think at least you would always want the blade flush at the front of the boot, so that the toepick and spin rocker are in the places they are designed to be.  I have skated on several different length blades, but always flush at the front.
