The Secret Life of Ice BBC4 7.00 pm today

A few years ago the BBC came to Guildford Spectrum rink to film the Royal Skating Club (English Style skating) for this programme.  We were filmed skating sets and some of these are shown.  I'm in there somewhere.  There is also some history of ice skating. 


The Royal Skating Club still has sessions for 10 or 11 weeks in the summer after the hockey season finishes if anyone is interested in having a go!

It would be good to see you Katepillar.  I don't go on training ice any more, only public sessions and quite often during term time they are quiet.

I remember Sarah and she looked good in the film.   She came quite a few times to English Style that year and possibly the year after.
