Jackson heat moulding
« on: May 19, 2018, 09:11:54 am »
Just heat moulded my Jackson freestyle boots in my home electric fan oven with perfect results. Did them one at a time at an accurate 75 deg c for 4 minutes, footbed out.

Fab, great tip :) I wouldn't have the confidence to try it. Did you check anything about the boot before deciding this was safe to do with them?

I was aware the skates are heat mouldable and they had been moulded at new by the supplying dealer but not well done. I obtained recommended temp data and times from manufacturer.

That’s the same temperature as for my Bauer speed plate insoles, and probably for hockey skates too. I was told that my hockey skates can be heat moulded 2-3 times.
