Nope - I am learning this one too and am also finding it rather a challenge.  See where I am up to on my thread regarding my head needing to be sorted out.

Forward Lemons is OK but backwards is indeed rather more challenging.  Good luck and I hope we both manage it eventually - I am sure we will!

Are you having problems with the balance, the moving of feet or the  gaining momentum?

Main points tend to be bend knees when pushing feet out. Don't lean forward (or look at your feet).  If it's a momentum problem then pushing gently away from the barrier can help. :)

Like most things  they improve with practise, however you do need a little momentum to do them.  On the other thread I think someone mentioned starting with  toes pointed together which helps. good luck

Main thing is when pushing heels together push feet outwards and bend knees (without leaning forward.)  If you got the knack of the forward ones you have the technique. It's just transferring it  to backwards.

Aww they will come with time!  Promise ;)

I find them a good thing to do as part of my warm up.  They good for stretching the inner thigh and also means I practise them every time I go on the ice.  Means you can't escape them but they don't get rusty.
