I skate at Blackburn too but not for the next 2 weeks while the kids are on holiday!!!

Oh yeah, it gets SO busy during the hols, it's impossible to have a good skate  :(  Luckily, cos Easter's at a weird time, the schools are having hols at different times, so it's not as busy as it could be :)
Passed Grade 10!!

Working on Bronze...!

I might be there next week with some friends but not to train. I think I might end up decapitating a few people!!!

Thats great everyone!
It's very intresting learning all about your skating. I have passed all 10 badges & bronze, silver & gold many years ago.
If you need any tips or anything, just give me a shout.  :)

Amy what is the best way in ur opinion 2 start skating backwards?? :)
SkateUK Grade 3. PASSED!!!!!

Currently trying to do backward crossovers!!!
Also forward crossovers.
On the forward ones im ok going anti clockwise but i am finding going clockwise really difficult, can't get left leg over at all :(

Well, first of all if your starting, try & shake your legs but moving them around & pushing back. Once you get the hang of it, try further up to around your waist (so keep jigging shaking it about!) [I know it looks stupid but thats the way to start!] then once you get the hang of it, to get faster, lift your legs up, so left up, right up & push then you'll get faster. (If your really stuck, ask a coach at your rink.
Hope this helps!

Anything else, you ask!  :)
