It is on NISA's events page... No info there yet other than it is in Dumfries on the 3th and 4th November though . As far as I know it is an adult comp for both free and dance (including solo dance). I'll let you know if I hear anything more.

My coach is (v enthusiastically!) trying to persuade me to enter the lowest level solo pattern dance.  :o

Hi,
I contacted sk8 scotland last week and was advised that they are in the process of organising an adult skating club international competition for the first weekend in November.  This will encompass free skating, couples and solo dance, pairs and interpretive.  It will be in line with the ISU adult competition  with the addition of solo dance.  They intend to put a provisional document onto the Sk8scotland website soon.
Hope that helps x

that sounds very interesting... hope they will continue doing the comp next year. i am only going to have my first program made over the half term /in scotland/ and am ment to be leaving the country right after that, so I dont think i should even think of going this year /however tempting it is/...but if they had it next year i could work around that! i would LOVE  to do a comp up in Scotland and if i saved a small fortune i could perhaps make my coach come too ... I'm hoping to compete this year, hopefully if a few adults enter, they will be encouraged to hold it again.  It's really great to have this competition in Scotland and Dumfries is a lovely rink.  I just need to start running through my free program and actually get to the end  :-)
