It is with great sadness to inform you that Betty Callaway MBE has passed away  at the age of 83.
 
Betty Callaway MBE
The President of the British Ice Teachers Association
 
World famous coach to numerous, National, International, European, World and Olympic Champions including Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
 
The British Ice Teachers Association is indebted to Betty for the many years of exceptional work and commitment to the sport.
 
An exceptional lady.

Sad, sad news. A great lady who did wonders for British skating.
I don't believe in the no-win scenario. There is always a way to have your cake and eat it!!!

Indeed, sad news.

She made a great contribution - always seemed to have an appropriate and balanced remark which was constructive.

That is a shame.  I hope she had the peaceful passing she deserved, and she will be remembered for many years to come as someone with skating at her heart.

I truly wish her family well.
