I think trainers are ok but I've also seen people do it in bare foot.  Some coaches have a preference and will ask you to take trainers off or leave them on - I guess it will depend on exactly what we'll be doing.  I always take trainers and ballet shoes.

I am taking my ballet shoes but if you don't have them I'd suggest just bare foot. I would take trainers as well though as you'll need them for the other off-ice class  O0

That might be fun - well maybe a meal if not drinks! We'll have an early start travelling up to Nottingham, so it'll be a long day. We'll see how we feel maybe - I'm coming up with someone else. Looking forward to it!

Lovely idea Becky, but I'm afraid I'll have to pass as I'm not staying in Nottingham on Saturday night.  I think I'll be exhausted and probably not good company by then anyway  :-[

It was good to see you again BeckyM and skatey - and to meet the rest of you - I know some of you confessed to lurking on this site... you know who you are!  ;D A good camp and I think they may just have helped diagnose why my spins are so erratic despite over a year of practice, and my coach tearing her hair out wondering what on earth else she could try to get me to improve them! ....  Also learnt some good new exercises and tips for improving my jumps, which was encouraging - but also discouraging that my toe-loop was more faulty than I thought!  :(  The coaches were great and it was a good couple of days.

I don't think I'll be taking up ballet regularly, though  ::)

I promise to provide my feedback about the camp as soon as my dissertation is handed in tomorrow. Right now, I'm slaving over the final touches  :buck2:
