I don't believe in the no-win scenario. There is always a way to have your cake and eat it!!!

Videos are both really impressive, the Obersdorf one has some extra stuff (thrown loop etc) was this a longer program?

The program requirements for isu allowed an extra minute but hoping it will be the same for both British and isu this year

Wow, that's so beautiful to watch, and so nice to put faces to screen names :)

A couple of mine here. The first was taken by my mum when I was still skating in death wellies at Trentham last year (I got my skates about 2 weeks later!)

I'm the one in the pale blue waterproof. I should point out, the girl in the middle saw my mum filming, so went and started practicing right in front of her camera, hence the comment. My friend Lou is the one in the yellow t-shirt.

The second one, I think you'll all have seen before. My best friend Helena taking to the ice with my lecturer, and also very good friend Richard. This was a film I made:

Hope you like them. I'm hoping to get a better video of me skating done at some point this year, demonstrating not all hockey skate wearers are menaces :)

Thanks for posting Vicky. I've never seen a wheelchair on ice in real life and first time on video.

The first video is like the smallest little rink.

BTW, Is the first video of Smelltheice and Santa maria?? What a fit looking couple. Nice lines.

Matt, that's the little temporary rink my city gets every year. I used to really enjoy it, but now, having skated at a rink an hour away a few times, I think I'll have trouble adjusting to the small size again. My mum also tried death wellies and after that session, she said if I still wanted my own skates, she'd buy them for me for my birthday! Before that, she was sure I didn't need them! I've had them nearly a year and although I don't skate regularly, I can skate without pain now :)

The second video, well that's what we aimed to do, we aimed to show that really, ANYONE can get out onto the ice, and we still get comments when we do skate, about how cool it is and how nice it is to see the rink being inclusive etc. Best of all though, I can now do something i really enjoy, with my best friend :)
