>> Ha, so true! They would pay you about £30,000 to do it as well, so long as they 'knew you'.

if only !! you can be my agent on commission if you can get that :-)

>>And well done on the map, can we sticky the link in a seperate thread at the top of the forum please?
Sure ... perhaps wait til i publish from http://test.icesk8.co.uk back on to www.icesk8.co.uk
I need to go through all the links and check they all work

>> AFAIK International School of Skating no longer has any association with Altrincham - apart from the occasional course at the rink.  It doesn't seem to figure on their web site.

let me think about this - perhaps I need a different color for xmas/ temporary rinks - that can be optionally displayed.

also - perhaps should allow "user comments" to be supported
i also wonder about having another maps for ice skating shops ??  skate sharpeners ??  perhaps i could earn some pocket money for adding such pins / links ??
also not sure if I should separate ice hockey in some way ... or be able to toggle it on / off.

thanks for everyone's input

Like the idea of user comments, although then you have to think about moderation, which could be a pain.

agree with that, as you could end up with a long list of totally unrelated comments :-\

Patch times would be good though, there's a thread on here somewhere with probably quite accurate information

I dont want to replicate the discussion functionality of this forum.
Perhaps this forum should have a separate area - with one thread per rink ... and i link to the appropriate thread for each rink ??

A good idea, means that it becomes a seperate thing, as so has the distance required to stop it being so linked to the map.

You do realise that if you add a news feed, and a source for the required NISA official docs (all in a .pdf format instead of the mess currently available) that you will have made the NISA site redundant?
