One club to add
Altrincham Ice Skating Club
http://www.aisclub.co.uk/

Possibly one new rink for the future at Widnes at The Hive
http://www.thehivewidnes.co.uk/portfolio/planet-ice/

http://www.thehivewidnes.co.uk/

Widnes railway station was the inspiration for Paul Simon's Homeward Bound.  As Paul Simon is quoted as saying: "If you'd ever seen Widnes, then you'd know why I was keen to get back to London as quickly as possible."

Not much evidence of ice at the moment - just a concrete floor.

If you do update it then it will be more up to date than NISA's, which still shows Streatham.

Brilliant - you could sell it to NISA!  It's much better than theirs - up to date and gives you an immediate picture of your nearest rinks.

Ha, so true! They would pay you about 30,000 to do it as well, so long as they 'knew you'.

Could you have a look at the rest of the site while you are at it, what a POS.

And well done on the map, can we sticky the link in a seperate thread at the top of the forum please?

Great

AFAIK International School of Skating no longer has any association with Altrincham - apart from the occasional course at the rink.  It doesn't seem to figure on their web site.

'Cleveley' is 'Cleveleys'

Is Plymouth still operating?  It was scheduled to close but there were the usual prospects of a replacement.

I think Bristol is still operating.  Maybe you need a fading/funereal marker for those rinks :( :(

Just remembered, there is a rink at Forfar - it is manily used for curling, but it does allow skaters on for some sessions
