Yes I have them.  They are great all round blade.  Plus will last you up to quite high levels, which saves you having to change again in near future. Toepicks are moderatly big but not huge, if your postures ok then you shouldn't have probs.

I have these blades and I love them. I found that my skating improved a great deal especially my spins and three turns as they have a more pronounced rocker. I recommend these to anyone plus they will last you ages inturns of going up the levels as they are a great all rounder. I looked at getting all the additional extras lke the  pick but was advised against them as they helped when you got up to doing triples which I am no where near so I chose the standard ones.

I don't believe in the no-win scenario. There is always a way to have your cake and eat it!!!

I have them too and agree with what everyone else said.  Spins improved instantly and jumps improved in about 6 weeks, though I did have to almost re-learn them for a couple of weeks as the toepick was so different.

They're a good blade.  There's also a Coronation Ace Dance (it's shorter at the heel) if you're going to do dance predominately.

Used to use them for free skating as well.

ISk8 did you have any problems using them for both?  Am doing both myself and want to change to these blades but can't afford two different sets at the moment I just wondered if you had any difficulties?

Sorry, the grammar there wasn't very good. >:(

I used to use a basic Coronation Ace for Dance and Free.

I changed to Coronation Ace Dance when I decided that I was getting too old and too many injuries for free.  Yes, you can do jumps, etc. using the dance blade, but really it didn't feel as safe to me with a shorter blade (bad landings?).  I had other foot problems which convinced me that jumps were a bad and painful idea.  I do know coaches who demonstrate jumps, etc. in dance blades with no problems.  You'll also see some free skaters with some specialist short blades.  Personally I've found dance blades much better for dance once you get used to them.  I've had other dance blades over the years, but have gone back to Coronation Ace Dance - probably driven by availability and price.

If you're doing a mix of dance/free then I'd go for the standard blade.  If you're really going to do dance alone, then get the dance blades.

Thanks that helps a lot. Am starting to feel free may be too risky for me too but I want to persevere for a while so I think I'll get standard first and hopefully (finances willing) add dance blades a bit later.
Thank you
