I smiled when I saw a comment on another site, referring to 'public skaters' as 'muggles', the term being taken from the Harry Potter books of course. I hope this doesn't mean I am becoming an ice-skating anorak !!!

sounds a pretty fair term to me too, as I have no one teaching me other than my girlfriend that told me to bend my knees... the arm flailing and random scary leg movements are all my own work :D
